Wow,this is a type of rpg I've had no exposure to in the past,I will be checking it out.Apropos of nothing Chad I've just finished reading the thread Scriv baby posted "Am I too squeamish for Call of Cthulhu?" http://mu-podcast.com/campus/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=603 ..what great stuff! Kept me up past my bedtime.....
Hah! Oh, to regain the sleepless hours we have lost to the MUP forum.

Yeah, I was glad Scriven raised the issue. Actually, it's sort of related to this show's topic in a way. Part of Aron's sandboxing toolkit is to ask players what would be completely off the table, genre-wise. Like if I was fed up with zombies and wanted to make sure our sandbox campaign didn't have them. I think he used time travel as an example in his game. So that's more about personal taste, but the whole concept of declaring other kinds of boundaries might also come up if you were sandboxing a dark horror game.

I've been wanting to play that for a long time. Have you already played a *World system?

I'm up for some Tremulus too. I haven't played in this type of game though, so I'm a little hesitant to run it.

I was part of a playtesting session with Sean. It is very interesting. Easy to learn but it takes some time to get used to. It also has some collaboration system between players, that works great for a horror game where a bad "roll" can mess things up really bad. The main issue of why I haven't run it is because it takes time to reach resolution . I think we played for about 4 hrs and we were close to a mystery, but never reached resolution. Of course it was just playtesting, I think if we had two more hrs we could have finished it.

I would like to play if someone wants to run a game.

Me too. I'd like to play some session and then follow up with some discussion about how the mechanics work. I think it would be really interesting to explore, and such a different approach to horror role play.

I know this is very last minute but I usually have my nights full with the exception of this week. I've been sick since Sunday, so if you guys can, maybe we can organize something tomorrow night, more an exploratory session of the system than a "real" session, what do you say?

For my part, you have caught me during a crap week for extra curriculars. I'm under some deadline pressure, so will have to wait a week or so before carving out more game time.

But I'd like to stay in the loop, and that shouldn't prevent others from getting together to plan/ scheme/ plot/ mastermind.

Tomorrow's not great for me. I'd be up for something in a couple weeks though.
