"New To Cthulhu" Game
Great! I threw together a Google Doc survey to see when everyone can play and all that good stuff. Please check it out if you want to play RoC tomorrow.

I would absolutely love to play with you all if there are still open slots.
I've run CoC about three times as a keeper for some pathfinder friends, but since the game wasn't their preferred style of play I'm going to end up running a high fantasy dreamlands campaign most likely (I love the mechanics and setting too much too switch to a different system). I'm much more interested in the player side though as PFS doesn't allow for much good roleplaying or outside-of-the-box puzzle solving.

If there was enough interest (3 or more people) I'd be open to running a one shot of "Dockside Dogs" which has gotten favorable reviews from many COC veterans.
You can see the details here of the gaming ad on Infrno (though we do not have to play there):

(TOCKeeper/Ed): how did the Realms of Cthulhu go using Savage Worlds?

My gaming blog with pretty pictures: http://www.storytellersjem.blogspot.com/
Unfortunately , only Ed was available so we didn't get a chance to play. Not surprising considering the short notice of the game. I also had a couple of technology glitches using Adobe Connect, so that was a bust. I did run a meeting for work today using Adobe Connect and it went really smooth. If we ever did want to use Connect it is an interesting option, especially considering how easy it is to record meetings in Connect.Shannon Mac wrote:

If there is still interest to playing Realms I would love to run it. Just give me a heads up and we can figure out what everyone is thinking. (ie one-shot vs campaign, pre-gens vs pc created investigators, Google Hangouts vs. Skype vs whatever, etc) I just want to make sure I don't horn in on the "Call of Newthulhu" game Nvision is running. I'm not 100% sure if he is planning on making this a campaign or a one-shot, but depending on his schedule I could have some open Fridays. My Mondays and Thursdays open up at the end of this month, so that could be an option too.

Just doing a one-shot for now, but I am willing to run more in the future. Feel free to set up other games...the more the merrier!
@UnknownEntity: There's still a slot open in the game, but you'll have to run over quickly to Infrno, http://www.infrno.net/ sign up, and send a request to play. I've got a couple of people from the community at large waiting in approval limbo, since I wanted to give first crack at the seats to forum members.

By the way, Shannon is a first class keeper. This is a great offer.Shannon Mac wrote:If there was enough interest (3 or more people) I'd be open to running a one shot of "Dockside Dogs" which has gotten favorable reviews from many COC veterans.

It says that the game is full, but I went ahead and registered my character anyway. Let me know if anything changes.Nvision wrote: @UnknownEntity: There's still a slot open in the game, but you'll have to run over quickly to Infrno, http://www.infrno.net/ sign up, and send a request to play. ::EDIT::
The character's name is Thomas Creed.
Depending on when this would happen, I might be interested in giving this a try. My availability is pretty much limited to weekends, though.Shannon Mac wrote:If there was enough interest (3 or more people) I'd be open to running a one shot of "Dockside Dogs" which has gotten favorable reviews from many COC veterans.

I'd be very interested in playing Dockside Dogs. I heard the Skype of Cthulhu live play and would love to see what they might have missed out on.Shannon Mac wrote:If there was enough interest (3 or more people) I'd be open to running a one shot of "Dockside Dogs" which has gotten favorable reviews from many COC veterans.

Thanks again for playing, guys! You all played your characters very well and made it easy on me Sorry about the bed attack/rat poison combo, Dan.
