Ah, that'll give me plenty of time to set up both my new computer and my new headset, which I bought yesterday. Finally I will have sound again.
In the morning, mist comes up from the sea by the cliffs beyond Kingsport. White and feathery it comes from the deep to its brothers the clouds, full of dreams of dank pastures and caves of leviathan.

How did this go? Oddly, I had a dream about this game Saturday night.

I called it off on Saturday, so will have to run my first con game ever with no rehearsal AND in silence.

But you gotta tell me the dream now. How does it end? Does Doctor Grimoire rehabilitate?

All I remember is sitting on the computer in Google+, where somehow we all messed up our connections and had no sound and everything was in B&W except for you (the GM), but that worked out anyhow. I remember in order to "speak" to another, we had to point.

Never said it was anything exciting, just very odd. :)

Wow, that actually sounds like a pretty good setup. I wonder if there's some way to do a scratchy B&W filter for G+ video...

It doesn't have to be scratchy. It could have been remastered for DVD. ;)

Good point. Need a title card generator for the dialogue and props. I guess that means making some kind of app. Also need to hire someone to play a Mighty Wurlitzer organ for us during the game...

Did a quick Google-search, and there seems to be plenty of free silent movie music available on the web, although having live Wurlitzer organ music does sound like a neat idea, but not as cheap.

I would really like to try this online after the con sometime. In some ways, it could end up better than in person.

Music is key. That's one unfortunate thing about a con - not practical to do music. Will have to play with Roll20 to see if there's a title card solution.

Given enough heads-up, I'd welcome the chance to be in on this after the con. Roll 20 is remarkably versatile -- I'm sure there's a solution there somewhere.
