Episode 71 - Horror Gaming in the Modern Day
Where Yig doth tread no man treads tomorrow.
Reeking death, harvest of humans in hatred.
Suck on the shitbag of what you created, what we created.
Yig now incoming, Yig now is here.
Yig he makes everything impossibly queer.

Hey. Hope no one minds me posting on this late; I'm very behind on my podcast listening.
Back in high school I used to run my Dark*Matter (modern horror) games set in 1999-- the year The Matrix is set in. It made it really easy to justify cell phones not working-- Remember how bad signal was in 1999? It also gives a good visual reference for the setting in terms of what computers and cell phones and such are available. However, it is harder to remember how we all lived without smartphones and wikipedia now than it was in 2005....
