Lovecraftian Word of the Week

Post by Keeper Jon » Wed Dec 30, 2015 8:58 pm

Scott... may I suggest you mentally approach this segment as this... it is NOT the "Weekly Lovecraftian Word," suggesting that the GFoJE present a Lovecraftian word to their listening audience on a weekly basis, rather it is "Lovecraftian Word of the Week," suggesting that for this particular week, whichever week it may be, the GFoJE are presenting a particular Lovecraftian word into their squamish lives.

Jon, Jon. Many have tried. Many have failed. You swim against a strong tide of pedantic resistance. I urge caution, brother. Lest you drown and sink to your brackish grave with all the others.

One plays games with time at one's own peril. The mental gymnastics required to redefine a fortnight as a week may change one's thought processes in dangerous ways, leading the mind down shadowy temporal paths filled with madness and hungry, lean shapes.

"The Lovecraftian Word of the Week We're Currently In, Damn Your Eyes".
Where Yig doth tread no man treads tomorrow.
Reeking death, harvest of humans in hatred.
Suck on the shitbag of what you created, what we created.
Yig now incoming, Yig now is here.
Yig he makes everything impossibly queer.

I would like to advocate introducing it as "Today's Lovecraftian Word," with instructions to "scream real loud" whenever it is uttered during the show.
