Investigator Handbook - page 18 Chapter 2 double page spread has hidden layer underneath in PDF with a whole other double page graphic of Cthulhu underneath - adds to PDF size unnecessarily

Same problem on page 40 Chapter 3 double page spread

Same problem on page 146 Chapter 7 double page spread

Same problem on page 206 Chapter 9 double page spread

Same problem on page 224 Chapter 10 double page spread

Also happens in Keeper's Book for nearly all chapter double page graphic spreads

Investigator Handbook - some pages are darker sepia background than others:

Compare page 222 to page 223.

Happens a lot and rather haphazardly.

Keeper's Book - page 12 "An Overview of the Game" section, 2nd paragraph:

Mentions "three" scenarios at the back of the book - but there are only two.

Keepers book page 160 Phobia Table

The font should be reduced slightly to allow some space between each entry - at the moment it is very crushed and the entries run into each other.

Keeper's book Page 176

Is something missing from the beginning of the page ? There is an ominous space there.

Keepers Book: Appendices

Some Appendices use one type of font as a header and some use another type of header font - shouldn't one type be used and standardised on for all appendices ?

Keepers Book pages 34 and 35

All the boxes have a rectangular highlight impressed over them spoiling the effect when it leaks too far out of each box.

Inv Hbk p 178 - entry for Flying Jenny says they sell for '$50-$600', presume this is meant to be '$500-$600'.

In the side-box on page 97 when discussing combined rolls, you state: "If he were to make two successive rolls, first against Mechanical Repair and then
against Electrical Repair, his chance of succeeding both would be reduced to 1%."

Um, no. That's not how probabilities work. The two rolls are not related, that is, the success of one does not affect the success of the other in any way. So you can't say that there is only a 1% chance to succeed on both.

To look at it the way you're looking at it, you are saying "what is the chance of getting 10 (or less) on the first roll and a 10 (or less) on the second roll", you'd have to look at it as: if you roll 1D100, or (2D10) there are 100 possible rolls for the first of which 10 are successes and 100 possible rolls for the second of which 10 are successes so that would be 100 possible success rolls out of 10000 possible rolls, or 10% of the possible combinations of rolls would be "successes". And the reason this works out this way if you roll 2D10 also is because one die has to be called in advance to be the "tens" die. If that were not the case, then that would radically change the odds.

However, that's not the chance of success. He has a 25% chance of success. That's because there are 4 possible outcomes:

success on the first roll, success on the second roll
success on the first roll, failure on the second roll
failure on the first roll, success on the second roll
failure on the first roll, failure on the second roll.

Of the four possible outcomes, only one is a success on both rolls so the player's chance of succeeding on both is 25%. And it doesn't matter what Harvey's skill level is in each, the answer comes out the same - 25% chance to succeed on both rolls because each roll is either a success on that skill or a failure.

Investigator Handbook, p. 150, Be Careful! boxed text: Watkins is misspelled Waktins the second time.

Investigator Handbook, p. 180, Remington Double Derringer M95: the range is given as both 3 yards and 10 yards, presumably 3 is correct. Also, all the weapons statistics in this section seem to use the 6th edition format for the number of attacks, instead of saying 1 (3) or the like.

Investigator Handbook, p. 181, Mauser 'Broomhandle' Pistol M1912: damage is given as 1D10+2, but presumably the intent is not to describe the Chinese .45 variant? The original 7.63mm or the 9mm model seems more likely and would have lower damage. When one compares the Mauser to the weapon tables, range should probably be 15 instead of 10, too.

Investigator Handbook, p. 181, Webley-Fosbery Automatic Revolver: only the .38 model holds 8 rounds. The .455 holds 6 rounds.

Both books: in the weapon tables, the Handguns table heading lacks the (i) for impaling weapons. I presume handguns do still impale, since the Shotguns description says: "Rifles and handguns can impale, however shotguns..."

Main rulebook, p. 120, Malfunctions: only revolvers, break-open guns, bolt-action rifles and lever-actions are mentioned. What about pump action, semi-automatic or fully automatic weapons? Or muzzle-loading weapons - the weapon tables do mention the .58 rifle musket and a flintlock pistol.

Main rulebook, p. 151, An Example from The Call of Cthulhu: "Johansen reverses the Alert in to him..." should be "into".
