Confirmed!

I'm putting the finalized document into Keeper Dan's hands tomorrow, and he will post it shortly thereafter. We've had a lot of twists and turns on this project. We've gone from a newsletter format to a 'yearbook' concept, and then back again to something between the two. But I think we've got a solid inaugural issue. Based on lessons learned during the long, 1.5 year process, it seems clear to me that we can produce this -- to borrow a phrase from the "Friends of Jackson Elias" podcast -- as an "occasional" publication. That is, we can do it multiple times per year, but the frequency of release will be driven by the volume and quality of submissions we receive, not to mention the available time of the editorial staff. We already have a head start on issue #2 because not everything we received in the initial call for submissions will appear in the inaugural issue.

The first issue of Cephalophobia is up on the MUP main website. I'll point out that we're having some issues with the way the PDF is being displayed -- highly recommend downloading it and opening the file in either the free Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Professional. For some reason, we lost the 2-up + cover page format so that the pages display consecutively, one by one, rather than in booklet form. We'll work on getting that corrected.

Alternatively, if you really want to have the virtual magazine experience, you can read Cephalophobia as an Issuu document by navigating here: http://issuu.com/scriven2/docs/cephalophobia_issue_1

I can download it but it says it's corrupted. Could you put it in the store?

Hi. Same here I'm afraid.

Download file size is only a few 100 kb and not the 3+mb and is corrupted.

But fortunately the podcast is as excellent as ever, so I can console myself with a re-listen.

I had the corrupted download issue as well, I "copied link" and pasted it into my browser and was able to save it that way.

Thanks Murph and Scriven! Great to see my first short scenario in (virtual) print!

Really love the Invictus adventure, Gladius! You did a great job evoking strengths of the setting and weaving real mythology into the piece.
