Wow. That's awesome and creepy all rolled together into one hell of a salty snack.
The imagery of this should be all kinds of inspiring for coastal stories. I wonder if Deep Ones could live in water with that kind of salt content. Normal fish can't seem to do it.

Perhaps it was more than rain that broke the dam. Maybe the town was flooded to cleanse it of something. Something that's now been released from its watery prison... :cthulhu1:

Wow, I love this. The pictures are fantastic! I always think that there is more under the water than people give credit for. It's a prime example of 1) how fast the water can overtake an entire area and then, just as quickly, recede. 2) How all that was there can be hidden away and is only remembered when it comes back in some form. Whole town submerged and the only thing left are pictures, ruins and memories.
