Registration opened today. About 600 passes left (They are limiting to 1600 participants I believe).

I know many of the SoC, GFoJE, and MUP crew will be there!

Any pro tips from people? This will be my first time attending.

How to save money but more importantly how to make the most of the convention!

Some of the events that you need to register for will fill up FAST.
How to save money: don't go :) Honestly there's so much want-to-have in the dealer's room, and you're in the middle of a convention center, so food/drinks are expensive...
Best parts: meeting, talking, drinking and playing games with people from SoC, MUP, Good Friends, YSDC and the rest of the community. Heck, you're staying with some of them!

I would like to state for the record that I wish to treat Keeper Dan to dinner and some drinks, one evening, while at Necronomicon 2017 as a thanks of sorts for the MU Podcast and all the work he does on it. I'm good for it, just ask Keeper Chad and/or Murf. As for those two gents, I'd be happy to order you guys complimentary tap waters if you decide to join us.

I second buying a drink for Keepers Dan and Chad. It sounds like Keepers Jon and Murph attending are highly unlikely.

In other news is it worth staying at Necronomicon late Sunday or do things die down? What about Wed night?

Last time I think things were winding down by noon on Sunday, though there were quite a few folks nursing hangovers. I and a few others were out of Providence by 1:00PM...

People do linger a bit on Sunday. I tend to be homeward bound by that point, but many who come from far away stay over on Sunday.
