Hello All,

I’m an assistant professor of sociology at the University of New Haven. I’ve also been a fan of HPL since I was a teenager. I’m starting a new study on fandom and wanted to focus on the upcoming convention in Providence. My research topic is broad, but I’m basically looking at the different ways fans experience and interact with their interests.

The survey includes questions about what you like about Lovecraft’s work in general, why you plan to go to the convention, what you hope to do there, and similar topics.
