Halloween COC scenario (2 runs)

A place for games to be managed and run, as well as looking for people to play with online.

Halloween COC scenario (2 runs)

Post by Shannon Mac » Wed Aug 06, 2014 9:44 pm

ONLINE GAMERS: I am running a scenario for Halloween. Probably two games. One for people in the PDT time zone and those outside of it. Note that the latter has most of the seats filled but there is still a bit of room. First come, first serve. Doodle poll will go out later.

You play kids who are cousins to one another and are all based on characters from Mythos literature (Edward Derby anyone?) and are going up to your grandfather's farm for a great Halloween festivity. Obviously, bad things happen. This is a well written scenario by Oscar Rios.

If interested let me know which group you want so that I can add you to the spreadsheet. I'll put out a poll later. Waiting list people acceptable, too.

As an FYI the group outside of my PDT time zone is now filled though a waiting list is fine and historically one or two get into it (because schedules don't always work for everyone).

EDIT: the other group filled up 36 hours later from this post.

Having bought most of the Halloween pdfs off Chaosium/drivethrurpg, there's some gems hiding in there that are quite fun sounding. Should be a fun game for all involved.

(Hook): I've decided to run "The Lock In". Want me to record it?

Yes please! I'd love to hear how it plays out. And, I get a kick out of listening to you as Keeper, you are a fantastic maestro of role-playing.

Thanks for the compliment, buddy.

Eddie P or I will record it. We're set for Oct 30th as an FYI. Game is filled barring someone bailing.

If we use Skype I can record, no problem; I use a program "Call Recorder" which is specific to Skype. Recording from Google Hangouts will be a problem for me until I figure out how to configure my mixer.

Really looking forward to this game.

We can do Skype for the recording. That way the work is on you for editing. See what I did there? :D

As long as Murph isn't playing, editing shouldn't be too bad. ;)
