Colonial Lovecraft Country - playtesters needed
Hey everyone.
You may already know this but Sixtystone Press is looking for playtesters for their new upcoming Call of Cthulhu sourcebook: Colonial Lovecraft Country.
I'm considering running this playtest. Is this something any of you would like to be a part of? Playtesters get credit in the final publication as well as a free pdf of it. Let me know because they want to start soon. It sounds like there will be more than one session involved in this playtest (there is a lot to playtest here). My general availability for playtesting will be most weekdays after 8:30 PM central. We'd use Skype, probably recording play, and maybe use the Infrno.net virtual table.
Details of this playtest can be found in the link below.

Not a hack!
EddyPo - I'm interested. What dates are you thinking?
I haven't picked any dates yet. I wanted to see if there was enough interest first. In general I think we'd start playing in 2 to 3 weeks depending on how soon Sixtystone sends out the playtest material. I'd need a couple weeks alone to read the rules and prepare a scenario. I would poll all the players to pick game days. The best days for me are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. But I do have some flexibility. I think we could start as soon as the week of July 28 to August 3. Holy mackerel, this summer is going fast. I'm already into August.

Hey EddiePo - I'm definitely interested in playing if there's availability.

So far that's three of us.
Not a hack!
I'm def in too if there's still room. However, I cannot start the week of July 28 to August 3 as I'll be out of town. If that takes me out of the running, let me know.
That doesn't take you out. I'm not too concerned when we start. Playtesting period will be a couple of months.
Not a hack!
Groovy. Count me in then!

That sounds great. I'm mostly available for the next couple of months however I can't participate Thursday July 18th - 21st, and also August 22nd -25th as I'll be in Providence for Necronomicon. Hopefully those dates won't interfere.

Assuming there is still room I'm interested, Ed.
Then again I may want to run this myself with my great love of the Colonial/Revolutionary Period.
UPDATE: since you have a lot of people I sent this out to my offline group and they want to do it. We'll be in the second round when it converts to 7E. Thanks for the heads up, Ed.
