For those that were a fan of his books and other work ...

BBC news has just announced that Sir Terry Pratchett has passed away at the age of 66.

He will be missed but will be remembered for his bravery in the face of Alzheimer's as much as his uniquely comedic fantasy and sci-fi novels.

Very sorry to hear this. I have a soft place for British humor, no matter how low. And as an individual who has family members on both sides of the tree who suffered from the many forms of dementia I have great sympathy for his.
