Keeper Jon, I'm running Heroes of the Sea this evening and have a number of characters that I will happily sacrifice in your honor this evening. The players will never know what hit them and Frau Wassermeister won't miss a few. Best of luck!
Good luck Dan!

May unspeakable horrors older than time itself devour the other candidates.
Not that you'll need that to get the job, but, hey, unspeakable horrors get hungry sometimes.

Well, that was a bust. The interview went well, I thought. However I got the generic "no thanks" e-mail from them.
Hours at work picked back up, so we've gone from 32 hour weeks to 56 to 58 hour weeks.

Sorry to hear about the gig, Dan. I'm sure other opportunities will crop up soon, and may the people in charge be less stupid next time.

I hope something more stable comes up for you soon, Dan. Try not to burn yourself out on the extra hours. I consistently take on more work than is good for me, just due to the nature of the job, but when it catches up to you it really sucks... Take some time out when you can for family and games, and if you ever want to play something instead of running just drop me an email.

Thanks guys. It means a lot having a great support group. I'm still gonna keep my eyes open. I'm really fed up with the 10 hour days in a loud, dirty environment surrounded by grouchy old people.
