One Hour Photo and Insomnia were two I liked.

Fisher King was also very deep and dark.
If religion were true, its followers would not try to bludgeon their young into an artificial conformity; but would merely insist on their unbending quest for truth, irrespective of artificial backgrounds or practical consequences.

Definitely is horrible - it's unbelievable (and unbelievably sad) to see a beloved comedian take his life with some many people that love them and their work. Unfathomable they couldn't see people would want to help them and get help. Guess it just goes to show how different the life of celebrity is than the regular Joe. RIP, Robin - wish you peace and laughter in your hereafter.

I was married to a woman who suffered from bi-polar disorder.
It's a horrible disease, she committed suicide and I'm a widower.

I've been there...

So sorry to hear that fallingtower, it's always devastating when someone decides they can't handle life anymore. My condolences.

I always pictured Robin Williams as the perfect Randal Flagg should they ever adapt King's Dark Tower series. So sad to see him go.

My condolences, fallingtower - I can only imagine your pain and loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care!

Just to clarify - I'm definitely not minimizing the scope or effect of mental disorders in society. There are millions of people dealing with the pain and loathsome fear everyday in all walks of life. I just wanted to express the horrible irony of the pain some of the beloved actors/actresses/comedians who have so many people that love them and would do anything to help them, but the pain is still too much for them to see that, or worse yet, want to get help. You just wish they could see the love and it worked out in a different and happier way - tragic. :(

Condolences, Fallingtower.

I was in love with a woman for a period of time who was bipolar and perhaps borderline but that is another story.
