Help recommend podcasts

Post by Keeper Jon » Mon Mar 03, 2014 1:32 am

Hello.

So my hard drive died last week. I lost everything. All the pictures of my children, all the music I ever had, everything I've ever written... everything. So I'm in the process of rebuilding some things, including podcasts.

Can anyone recommend some good podcasts? Thanks guys.

Hey Jon. Sorry to hear about the crash. That totally stinks. Here's a short list of some podcasts I listen to, most of which are probably not new to you.

Role Play Public Radio
Dead Games Society
Blurry Photos
Unspeakable Oath
The Good Friends of Jackson Elias
Roll for Initiative (btw you and MUP are mentioned in the latest episode. Vol.3 Issue 138)
Save or Die.
Not a hack!

I had a hard drive crash some years ago. It taught me to properly back up my files. A painful lesson.

Yeah. My current external hard drive is already totally full. So I nowhere to back anything up into. My wife and I were in Costco over the weekend, and saw a 3 TB hard drive for $120, and a 4 TB hard drive for $170. I think we're going to pull the trigger on the 3 TB one.

Could also go with the following list of history podcasts.

Sucks about the pc problems. Went & got a passport drive after the last external drive started to die. Might look on NewEgg as well for a new drive there too cheaper or on amazon. Good luck with the recovery process!

Right now my three gaming podcasts are: MU-Podcast, Skype of Cthulhu and Fear the Boot. The latter you may have not listened to so I'll say they have some very interesting discussions which apply to all types of RPGing at the table even though they tend to be more of an epic style group (D&D, Savage Worlds, etc).

Let us not forget the Miskatonic University Podcast. ;)
