long shot question

sometime in the podcast's history, someone mentioned an astronomical observatory on the roof of a house.
does anyone who cares about insignificant human affairs remember who that was, and/or which episode it was in?
thanks in advance for any clues.

Is it possible that you're thinking about the history segment about the Society of the Woman in the Wilderness?

The group had an observatory on top of a log-cabin style monastery.
