Keeper's Screen 7th Edition

Post by MikeM » Wed Sep 18, 2013 8:58 am

Hi

We are in the process of considering what should go on the back of the Keeper's Screen - I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for 'essential' Keeper reference tools that might go on the screen?

Is there anything from earlier screens that you'd like to see?

Thanks

In the most recent screen, I loved the quick combat adjustments due to distance of target and size of target. Maybe something like that?

Also, maybe that chart that breaks down, at a glance, what each percent number is at half and at 1/5th.

The Resistance Table! Oh...wait...never mind. :P

Base percentage for skills is always handy to have.

If there is a way to short-hand the chase mechanics, I think that would be quite useful.
I would first look at the things that are new to the system.

Not sure the new combat rules but I found the combat round breakdown and the weapon damage always handy, hopefully something similar for the new combat mechanics, also quick average stats for npcs I have found useful. I definitely agree with Dan on new things being priority. I saw the new pic for the screen via my kickstarter update and it looks great!

Just don't put stuff on there that's not in the rulebook this time! ;)

Average NPC stats, combat, chases, sanity, damage/healing. Perhaps a small list of generic broad categories of weapons and vehicles for when you have to come up with weapon or vehicle stats on the spot.
