Fermented herring should be on that list. The smell is enough to qualify it. Hard to describe if you've never smelled it, but it's a really strong pungent smell of rotten fish with a dash of poop smell added to it. The water from the cans are sometimes used as stink-bombs.
In the morning, mist comes up from the sea by the cliffs beyond Kingsport. White and feathery it comes from the deep to its brothers the clouds, full of dreams of dank pastures and caves of leviathan.
