Boardwalk Empire

For some good inspiration for a 1920's game, I recommend the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. It's produced by one of my favorite writers, Terrence Winter, who did some great work on the Sopranos. Season 1 begins in 1920 on the day that Prohibition goes into effect. A great show to mine for ideas or to get a feel for the period.

Season 1 does start a little slow, but I'm really enjoying it now that its built momentum.

I'd echo that.

Also shows that a character with a very low App stat can be a very interesting character to play.
