It will be 90 yrs on Saturday, Feb. 16th that Howard Carter entered the tomb of King Tut
http://africanencounters.blogspot.com/2 ... mb-of.html. Does anybody know if there are any written Cthulhu scenarios set in Egypt on the subject(or similar) for a possible anniversary one-shot?

Sorry I'm late in replying. The Obvious one for a one-off is "The Mummy's Bride" from
Blood Brothers (1990), which is a game version of a Mummy film.
Egypt and Egyptian tombs are a common theme for CoC adventures. "Thoth's Dagger" in
Curse of the Cthonians (1990) was an early one and
Day of the Beast (1998) contained 'The Sands of Time'. There is a lengthy Egyptian section in
Masks of Nyarlathotep (1997).
Challenge magazine did a three adventure cycle about Nephren-Ka ("Curse of the Centuries", "Horror of the Centuries" and "Evil of the Centuries"). There was an adventure about "Caller In The Desert" in
Lurking Fears (Triad Entertainments, 1990). Most recently
Death In Luxor.

Thoth's Dagger is a Arthur Conan Doyle story. That era of discovery is a creepy good setting. Thanks.

I think you're thinking of "The Ring of Thoth"? An excellent little story.
