NecronomiCon Providence 2017 Research Project
Posted: Mon Jul 03, 2017 2:26 pm
Hello All,
Two years ago I started a study on NecronomiCon in Providence. With the upcoming return of the convention, I’m continuing the study and looking for research participants. I’m an associate professor of sociology at the University of New Haven. I’ve also been a fan of HPL since I was a teenager. My topic is broad, but I’m basically looking at the different ways fans experience and interact with their interests.
If you are planning to attend NecronomiCon 2017 in Providence, please consider completing a short survey (about 15 minutes) to share your thoughts. You can access the survey here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/28S5VMJ
You must be 18 years or older to participate. You may participate regardless of whether you completed the previous survey in 2015. The survey includes questions about what you like about Lovecraft’s work in general, why you plan to go to the convention, what you hope to do there, and similar topics. More information is available on the first page of the survey.
Thank you for your help,
-Jeff
