So I just used the new Chaosium approved auto character generator "The Dhole's House" and I must say I'm pretty impressed. I only created one character, but the process was smooth and quite user friendly. I also like that you can do a random generator for characteristics or a point buy. Everything is auto calculated and it stores your 7e character (you have to create an account, but it's free) on their site and also gives you a double sided character sheet PDF download.

I will definitely be using it in the future for when I need to taylor pre-gens for a specific scenario. The site also looks like it has a handout generator (telegrams, newspaper articles) as well.

I'm really liking this so far. I wonder if they can export the character into JSON instead of only PDF, so other tools (*cough* combat simulator *cough*) could ingest it.
