"How would you like to be plugged in the breadbasket?"
When you play or run games in other time periods, do you try to stay with in the idiom of the day? Do you do anything to research or just attempt expressions and speech patterns that are in keeping with the roaring 20s (for instance)? Personally I would like to, but usually don't. I find that it makes my contributions in character stilted and slow. Is there any way to sound like a proper flapper, bootlegger, or flagpole sitter?
