Hi all,
It's a bit early I know, but Mrs Keeper Ant has informed me I will be in Vancouver May 22 to June 10 next year. Something to do with us having tickets to see The Cure, some modern pop combo I believe, and it being cheaper somehow for us to go there than purchase tickets here in the Uk! There was some discussion of an arcane financial nature that I didn't quite follow, but Mrs Keeper Ant utilised her level 4 glamour (normally reserved for birthdays!) and hence we are going to Canada.
My question is; are there any cons/events/meet ups/clubs/drinking sessions that any MUPers know about in that area at that time?
Any alumni from Western Canada have any ideas?
Much Obliged
Keeper Ant

I don't know about formal events, but I'd be happy to meet up for a drink as you'll be visiting my hometown.

That's extraordinarily decent of you I would like that!PirateLawyer wrote:I don't know about formal events, but I'd be happy to meet up for a drink as you'll be visiting my hometown.
We're still a long ways off, so i won't hold you to it until we get a bit closer to the time and we can compare availability though
Anything I really shouldn't miss in Vancouver? We will be staying with my Sister-in-Law, so I think she'll cover any of the obvious 'touristy' things.

Ah coming ot the misty halls of MU's western annex are you?
The most noir / period thing I can think of in Vancouver is the Police Museum, located in the old morgue.

Absolutely! I'm very excited actually, I've visited the east coast of Canada many times but this will be a first for me!Koakai wrote:Ah coming ot the misty halls of MU's western annex are you?

The Police Museum looks pretty intriguing. Thanks for the tip!
Have you ever been to the Storm Crow Tavern? A friend said it can be fun?
