For those who attended how did the con treat you?
I played in 3 fun CoC games and ran Cthulhu Invictus. On that note here are some details about my game without spoilers:
CI went fairly well. We had 5 players and a total of 10 characters. At the end of the session 6 were dead, 2 walked away, 1 was turned into slave for cowardice and another was consistently mad. Unlike C0C 20s Cthulhu Invictus has a Sword and Sandals style in which you can fight some Mythos beings with your weapons. This could have been a TPK.
We tried to record this one but our back up recorder had a tech error so no tick to his computer use skill.

Oh, and one of my players won the open gaming prize bundle.

I ran a scenario I wrote myself for the Cthulhu End Times setting described in the book "Cthulhu Through the Ages". Investigators were all nuns (and one brother) living in an isolated outpost in a mythos apocalyptic age and sent on a dangerous mission to recover a missing girl. It was more pulpy than dark, but It was great fun with great players--and I got a lot of great ideas for further development. Number one change, make the ending much more grenade proof...
I'm looking at you Shannon.

Well, if you give gamers grenade and they all throw them someone is going to get lucky.
