Odd - horrific resin sculptures

Post by Koakai » Fri Oct 23, 2015 7:17 pm

Something stumbled across while checking out a site that vends original art by artists to the public. Browsing through the sculptures section and came across art by

http://www.saatchiart.com/account/artworks/379488

this pair. Warning NSFW and weird. Body horror in a sense, even if the bodies themselves are made of resin.

Just weird stuff, but might make for a nice photo to toss on the table in a delta green game. "He collects... art."

"Migrants" reminds me of the scampering woman-thing from Mr. Corbitt, in "Mansions of Madness."

Good find. I love me some hyper realist art. Reminds me of Patricia Piccinini, who sculpts the sweetest fever dreams.

I started to bring up Piccinini during the last episode in reference to The Festival monsters, but Skype would not have it. I would love to see her make a hyperealistic creature from that quote.
