Is World War Cthulhu not made for 7e rules? I was surprised to hear a call for a Dex check at x9.

If I recall, Darkest Hour was published just before 7e started to get released (the quickstart etc) so the 6th edition rules were still being used.
Life is a hideous thing, and from the background behind what we know of it peer daemoniacal hints of truth which make it sometimes a thousandfold more hideous.

Yes, that's right. The newer setting books (London, Cold War) are 7th edition, but not TDH. We are planning conversion notes to 7th edition for TDH, however.
