Hah!
MU Podcast - indirectly killing old ladies since 2012.
It's all about plausible deniability, folks.

Incidentally nearly scaring her into a cardiac 'incident' in the process.
Well played Gentlemen, well played.

I really need to make a health disclaimer page for the site.

Great episode. I wonder does anyone keep their own commonplace book? I started after hearing about Lovecraft's a few years ago and it has been extremely helpful. I sometimes go months without adding anything, but its great to go back and refresh my memory on ideas I had in the past.
As if coincidentally, this thread started on reddit about the same thing.
Also, when are we getting our Shawn of Spazathoth t-shirts?!?

Ah, Shawn of Spazathoth, that wonderful thrash metal band out of mid-eighties Yorkshire... I think I've got one of their tour shirts kicking around somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it up and post a pic.trevlix wrote:Also, when are we getting our Shawn of Spazathoth t-shirts?!?

I have an idea file that dates back to the mid-90s. Much of it is incomprehensible, but I'm still glad I have it. Before that I only had disorganized notebooks and journals.trevlix wrote:Great episode. I wonder does anyone keep their own commonplace book? Wow, that is a really weird coincidence that I randomly thought of the name right in the middle of the podcast. Or maybe there is something more sinister going on. That band didn't meddle in dark forces and suggestive backmasking, did they?Nvision wrote:Ah, Shawn of Spazathoth, that wonderful thrash metal band out of mid-eighties Yorkshire... Heheh, I just thought it seemed appropriate for the name and would be something cool to sketch up and present as an actual thing...I've been re-reading old Hellblazer comics, so that's where my head's at :p
For the pic, I'm thinking it's from their '82 album, Blind Idiot Dogs, featuring a towering, screaming, and eyeless Margaret Thatcher, holding the leashes of a pack of slavering, eyeless Royal Marines. All of this against a swirling, starry void, a fiery glow creeping up from the bottom.
