Here's another Lovecraft Video Game suggestion:

http://www.abandonia.com/en/search_abandonia/cthulhu

This site, Abandonia, has a bunch of cool old Dos games available. Highly recommended. Also, a lot of those older horror games like Phantasmagoria, which was written by Roberta Williams, the creator of the old Kings Quest games, can be found not only through Steam but also gog.com. Gog (Good Old Games) has a lot of cool stuff that you can't find anywhere else.

A couple of other video game/mythos-y connections that I can think of are in some MMORPG's. Warcraft has several Old God creatures that are at the heart of major lore and raids in the game, and The Secret World is heavily influenced by weird fiction. There is a town in it called Kingsmouth, if memory serves.

Finally, I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned in the past, but in case someone like me is catching up and jumps on here to read the additional comments, The Last Door is outstanding. A contemporary game made in the old point and click style, it proves that graphics do not make great games, but dramatic timing, writing, and music do. Here is the link to that:

With comics, the only thing I could think of that wasn't brought up was The Courtyard by Alan Moore, which I like quite a bit.

Oh man, one more video game just came to mind. Cthulhu Saves The World. You can get it on Steam. You play as Cthulhu. He has his powers sealed by a sorceror, and the only way for him to regain them, and thus destroy the world, is to become a TRUE HERO! The game engine is like the old Final Fantasy games for the NES and SNES.
