Giallo films are some of my favorite films. 4 Flies on Grey Velvet and Deep Red are among some of my favorites. I did not realize that they were called Giallo films until this show. Another great one is Pieces and Baba Yaga are another couple of great ones. Very stylistic artsy, crazy.

Great show guys. Blood, Gore and so many things. I love the topic of Cyberpunk Lovecraftian goodness.

First, I’m glad everyone seems to have liked the show, and I am very happy to introduce giallo films to those who have yet to see them. They’re a trip, I love them, and I hope you all will as well.

Now I don’t think there is a hard and fast rule as to what defines a giallo movie. A lot of it is up to personal taste. Me, I would say that Don’t Look Now would not be a giallo, while Fulci’s New York Ripper would be a giallo, but not a very good one in my opinion. If you want a good Fulci giallo, try Don’t Torture a Duckling. Also, sometimes there are movies that blur the lines. A favorite of mine is 1987’s Stagefright that is about equal parts slasher and giallo to me. Oh and it’s got a killer in a big owl mask, what’s not to love about that?

Stagefright trailer:

And Schizoid from 1980 is an American film, but it is very much a giallo movie.

For anyone interested in getting a copy of Eldritch Chrome through Amazon, now you can! There are only 2 left in stock, so this baby is selling well. Yay. But I'm sure they will always order more. Get your copy here: http://www.amazon.com/Eldritch-Chrome-U ... tch+chrome

Maybe combine it with Cthulhu Unbound 3 or Undead & Unbound and get that free shipping going? Hey, I'm just looking out for you. :cthulhu1: ;)
