Part 5 is an investigation of a lonely house, isolated far outside of town in West Texas.

Wally's character sheet is courtesy of Dean on his website Cthulhu Reborn.
The editing of these episodes was a longer process than anticipated, so it was decided to perform a minimum of edits on the live-play shows. The audio has been cleaned up and optimized, and the open and close credits have been added. The pauses and stammers are all present in their original form. This will ensure you get these in a much more timely fashion.

I enjoyed this one, especially hearing Dan and Murph in action together. Jon's running makes me want to run this sometime for people who didn't hear the podcast.

The Ilsley Variant was one of the best APs I've ever listened to...out of all genres. It sounds like they made if for a listener audience instead of just recording one of their own private gaming sessions and putting it on the internet. Keeper Jon's pacing was very good and this AP makes a wonderful introduction of game mechanics and storytelling for someone (i.e. me) who had not any previous experience with CoC and wanted to hear an example of game play. Well done MU crew!

Thanks HalcyonDaze. I remember when we recorded that game, that our intention was to annotate it with rule clarifications as we played so we could help give an example of how a CoC game could be run. Which is why we also included the character generation in the first episode.HalcyonDaze wrote:The Ilsley Variant was one of the best APs I've ever listened to...out of all genres. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

We were all three new to the group. We recorded this not long after we started the podcast. It pre-dates Chad joining the show.Shannon Mac wrote:Murph also seemed new to the group from what I could tell as well.

Yup, I'm the only late addition to the crew. I'm like the Ringo Starr of MUP.
