Your character now has an occupation and skills to perform their chosen job. Well, now its time to find out how much they get paid by that employment, and start to accumulate stuff with the money.

There’s not a lot of major crunch to discuss here. After all, it’s shopping. This is some of the most enjoyable times your Call of Cthulhu investigator will have. The rest of their time is usually spent looking for weird stuff and then running away from the weird stuff they were looking for that turned out to be hungry.

We also peek into the dark mists of time to get the attention of the nastiest critters that ever wanted to lick your face off.
This pretty well wraps up the actual character creation series. We’ll be going into the rules on playing the game after this point. Combat, insanity, and magic are all on the schedule. If there are other topics you want covered, please contact us and let us know.

This is also the episode where we announced our Cthulhu by Gaslight contest.

Was running around the community of the Role Playing Public Radio community audio playthroughs & found one fun little scenario with the hound (The Faculty Party). Rather fun moments plus a big reason why when someone asks what weapons you want if you can justify it, why you might just go in the stuff that's not too bad. Spoilers ahead as it follows pretty close to what's written in the pdf.
