Re: The End of the World
I loved V&V! I was Nightwind, a teleporting ninja with a disintegration ray. Good stuff. Just like you we played that for many years. We even made comic books about ourselves. Still have them and not at all embarrassed about it. ;) That's awesome! What better way to chronicle a supers game than to ...

Re: What Stories Scared You As a Kid?
Thanks!
There were a few legitimately creepy stories in there. A lot of urban legend tales as well, but the art is really what sells those books.

I certainly can't wait. Especially looking forward to simply digging into the rulebook, I can smell the nostalgia.fallingtower wrote:
I can assure you that 7e as far as Keepering, is a blast. It's got me charged up to run again...just the little tweeks that were done makes for more dynamic storytelling.

Re: Will you upgrade to 7E or do a blend per this video chap
When 7e is released (I wasn't able to be a backer on the Kickstarter...), I will definitely go over the new rules carefully and try to implement them to their fullest. At least all the non optional ones. I feel like 7e has been and is currently being playtested rather thoroughly... any hybrid I come...

Re: Who Would You Want Most At Your Table?
I think I'd want to run a game of The Dying Earth with: Clark Ashton Smith Terry Pratchett Robin D. Laws and the man himself, Jack Vance Ooh, Terry Pratchett would be amazing to have at the table. I'm going to bend the rules a bit and pick more than four... I would run a CoC pulpy scenario with: Th...

Re: I might have a live local group of gamers
I'm fortunate enough to play the majority of my games in meatspace. There are few things more satisfying than to drop a prop on the table in the middle of your players and watch them examine it with their hands and pass it back and forth among themselves. Tossing that D20 over the screen on a failed...

Re: MU Podcast 058 - Warpo is Kicking it Old School!
I got depressed because I'm a toy collector and a HUGE Lovecraft nerd. I missed the Kickstarter on these because paychecks didn't fall right, and after hearing this episode I began to drown in my sadness and regret. But today, on a whim, I went to Warpo's website just to see if they had them availab...
