Re: Something interesting
Wow, I love this. The pictures are fantastic! I always think that there is more under the water than people give credit for. It's a prime example of 1) how fast the water can overtake an entire area and then, just as quickly, recede. 2) How all that was there can be hidden away and is only remembere...

Boston Region 1922 - Hotels / Prices
Ok, here are some prices for actual Hotels from ads listed in the Boston Globe. Cost is listed per day/week. This is as of August 1922. Most of the Hotels had a large amount of rooms like 80 up to 150. Although I get the feeling they were for bachelor types/ or anyone who needed a place for an exten...

Re: Boston Map 1921
Oh, hell yes -- please post your goodies here, and please don't be discouraged from compiling Boston resources or campaign ideas. There's no guarantee that such a project will reach a printing press anytime soon.[/quote] Thank you for your kind response. I'm posting some pricing up now but I want to...

Re: Boston Map 1921
Yeah, maybe I'll appeal to Dan to move it over. --Please do so it can be under one umbrella. The whole point was to make it easy to find and like a one stop shop for info. Hey, did you know about the thread on YSDC about a "possible" Boston sourcebook? Not that I want to stop you from posting about...

Re: Maps, mapping and you
I stuck a link for a Boston map for 1921 (a nice one, useful) in the Freshman Orientation section. It has about 600 maps of the Boston area from the 1600s up. A map lover's dream. I didn't realize this section was here and I put a couple links there. I thought this area was specifically for History/...

Re: Boston Map 1921
OH wait, should I start putting this stuff under the National Historic Honors Society Section? I wasn't sure. I was thinking Keeper stuff / history stuff. Maybe I should move this there if that is possible.

Re: Boston Map 1921
Thanks guys for the welcome. I was hoping to put up a small collection of information to first time keepers with the intent of fleshing out various areas about/around Boston with tidbits of information. Just quick notes, enough that a keeper would begin to feel comfortable saying where you would be ...

Boston Map 1921
Not sure where this would go so I put it here. Feel free to move it to wherever would be most appropriate. Sick of trying to find a map of Boston from the 1920s? Scouring google, forums, etc.. Tired of that same old crap 18xx map that shows up all the time? If so, then my spasmodic research is your ...
