Re: Episode 71 - Horror Gaming in the Modern Day
Here's my simple and totally ripped off way of taking cell phones out of the equation. Remember the game Silent Hill? Remember the radio that would go all static and crazy when evil approached? I basically do the same thing in modern games, but with phones. The extra-dimensional nature of Lovecrafti...

Re: MUP 094 - That's what They want you to think!
Wow what a nice evening to be a Lovecraft (and Call of Cthulhu rpg) fan.
New MU podcast and a nice update on 7e. Video of the books.
I might use all this as an excuse to break my diet.

Re: MUP 093 - Elbow Deep in Chickens & the Art of PvP Persua
PvP - see 7e Rulebook page 60 - Interpersonal Skills: Disambiguation. This covers PvP social skill rolls and clears up any ambiguity. Also, in 7e, each skill in Chapter 4: skills has details of suggested opposing skills. You may want to use this a basis if you discuss this topic again. Cheers Mike ...

Re: Eternal Lies
The new edition of Cthulhu Dark Ages had a way to solve that. First off it uses 7E for opposed dodges and attacks so no more going back and forth for a few minutes between pros. Instead of getting the full armor absorption you roll a die and that determines how much armor you get per blow. It's a g...

Re: Eternal Lies
I've been running it in a slightly modified version. What I've changed. -The orgies before the mouths, the drugged out participant's bodies flow and meld together becoming one, covered in the slime/nectar and the tongue stirs and probes the writhing mass. After a few days the participants exhausted ...

Re: 2014 Delta Green Shotgun Scenario Contest
I wrote Out of Time...Out of Mind... I will definitely run it sometime in the future, being a solo scenario with a kick in the cranium ending has me enthused. The really cool thing about it,is I can run it back to back to back (at a con) with different people, each session changing a little thing he...

Re: 2014 Delta Green Shotgun Scenario Contest
Yeah I'm not thinking I have any chance of winning either. But I'd love to discuss and hear what folks think of my submission and me theirs. I actually haven't had an opportunity to playtest it, not for lack of players, but the fact that they already know too much about it and that avoiding metagami...

Re: 2014 Delta Green Shotgun Scenario Contest
Not that I think I have a winning entry, but I'm curious as to which entry is in the lead. There are a couple of them that I really dig. Some are well written, but some really have original concepts that I find interesting.
