I started reading The Strain by Guillermo del Toro (first of a trilogy), written by Chuck Hogan, it really got me interested. I haven't stop reading.

Yes, we did, she said that if her niece spoke japanese she would have known. Apparently she was given a book entitled Dreams of Japan as a girl, but it gave her nightmares and she put it away to never be read again.

Alan has a long story. He helped the characters leave Monhegan Island and then started working for Dr. Larson. He appears then in the Providence Cycle, and a couple of one shots including Wasted Youth.
