NASA sends probes to asteriods and finds intresting things
NASA recently had a probe arrive at an asteroid and find its density is just over that of water. In reality, this likely means it a loosely packed ball of dust and gravel with lots of empty space between particles. However, in an RPG that could mean it is hollow and hiding something fun. NASA also ...

Welcome to the Suppressed Transmissions Forum
That you Murph and the rest of the MU Podcast cabal. I'm Matthew, aka Canageek, and went by Lachlan on the old G+ group. For those stumbling in here: This is meant to be one of a number of successors to Jürgen Hubert's Google+ Suppressed Transmissions group. Taking its name from Steve Jackson Games ...

The Haunting: Why not just tear the house down?
So, I'm going to be running the classic adventure The Haunting soon. However, this is one bit, right at the start, that I've never been able to come up with a satisfactory response to why the landlord doesn't sell the building. Spoiler light recap or description for those that do not remember. Landl...

Re: Terminal City Tabletop Con: Vancouver, BC, March 29th-3
It isn't much, I just throw out most of the combat rules. Everyone gets one move, and one action each turn, like in D&D. That simplifies the whole aiming/three attacks things, though it makes combat a lot less lethal. To be honest, I started doing it as the 6e books bury combat all over the place, a...

Terminal City Tabletop Con: Vancouver, BC, March 29th-30th
So, will anyone be going to Terminal City Tabletop Con? ( http://www.terminalcitytabletop.com/ ) If you DM two slots, you get in for free, so I've signed up to run two adventures I'm familiar with: The Haunting (Using a rules-light version of Call of Cthulhu 6e I bashed together years ago and aiming...

Re: Help naming my new podcast
I’m not planning to specifically focus on horror role playing games, but the type of plot hooks I think up, and the sources of inspiration I use naturally lend themselves to poorer role playing games so I expect they will there will be some bias in that direction. However I am planning on trying to ...

Help naming my new podcast
Hello all. I’m planning on starting up a little podcast to fill some time while my girlfriend is in Seattle for work for a few months. It will start with an in-character segment, which will usually be similar to Dr. Gerard’s lectures (but not always—I have a few things in mind) that describes and me...

Re: Lore Podcast
I'll have to give this a listen. Last year I submitted a fan made Department of History episode on The Black Eyed Children. It was never used, and it seemed a waste not to do something with it, so when I was looking around for ways to keep myself occupied over the next 3-6 months while my girlfriend...
