Re: MUP 089 - Those Beginner Keeper Jitters
Great episode & one of my many favorites, as also new to the keeper screen. Luckily? as I've been trying to run locally before trying to run games online, I found the other beginner keeper problem of fighting everyone's schedule to try to get the game going. One little sidenote is that with running ...

few other tabletop games to look at
One recently found & fell in love with myself, A Touch of Evil by Flying Frog Productions. They also do a high pulp adventure game called Fortune & Glory too which seems high in story & adventure. With Touch of Evil, if you think of the gameplay slightly simplified from Arkham Horror/Eldritch Horror...

Re: Eldritch Horror: Under the Pyramids
My hopes would be blending Eldritch with another horror board game favorite (in dire need of expansions) Betrayal at House on the Hill. So when you go into the pyramid there are different room & corridor tiles you will use to explore the pyramid that gives all kinds of horrors. Though after getting ...

Re: MU Podcast 073 - Gaming Through the Ages
Been going around the Dice Tower videos & found one for Doom that Came to Atlantic City. Even if you're like me & want to still play it before agreeing or disagreeing with the review, these reviews are good at walking through some of the game to see more of it. http://www.dicetower.com/game-video/do...

Welcome to all & love the show, plus a forum where I don't need another login to. All Cthulhu goodness in one spot & looking forward to seeing the Good Friends of Jackson Elias & fans running around the halls of good old sanity blasting Miskatonic University (podcast).

Re: MUP 080 - NPC Favorites and Roll to Ramble Aimlessly
Possible oddity or just typo in the show notes: "Pathfinder bestiaries include lots of Lovecraft baddies, including: Bhole" Also another connection to Cthulhu with Pathfinder, Ryan who has worked with them & friends with the Mythos. Lots more here on the Unspeakable Oath. http://theunspeakableoath.c...

Re: Great Trail of Cthulhu Deal (Bundle of Holding)
Thanks and agreed, with all the Secrets books out, there's not a lot on parts of Europe in the 1920-30 timeline so Bookhounds is quite handy. Overall it's a great deal if curious on getting into running Trail/Gumshoe & should leave you with plenty of things to use. Thanks

Re: The Lock In Live Play
Quite a fun game to listen to & everyone did a great job at building the world or their characters. Any side tangent stuff like would the Arkham comic/game shop carry Call of Cthulhu RPG or the D&D addition to some of the characters was an unexpected treat. I think that the character creation choice...

Re: Reanimator Serum
With this serum it hit a wide range of effects based on the people it was used on & what state they were in. So if you want to use it, throw it in the scenario/campaign & if the players want to use it, feel free to decide a simple chart to see if it works & then put a few permanent insanity rolls on...

Re: How Do Bat-Crap Insane Cultists Hold Down a Day Job?
For me most of the low ranking cultists are pretty much just the same kind of drug crazed or drunk type of thug just with a bit more brainwashed in his/her background. Though I agree that at lower levels of sanity, the person probably has multiple permanent insanities which is a great thing for the ...
