Re: MU Podcast 038 – Con-Madness!
Still listening to the latest episode, but it sounds like the cons were a blast. I might have to consider the 2015, depending on how this new job turns out. BTW, I started listening to Welcome to Night Vale, the pilot just sounds like a bunch of disconnected sentences of weird stuff, I hope it doesn...

Re: Beware! For I am armed with new dark knowledge
I would love something like that myself, but I am doubtful anything real will pop up at my price range. And the orders go on: LotFP just added new stuff to their store yesterday, so I ordered all of it. Fuck For Satan (adventure by James Raggi) LotFP Rules & Magic , the new HC edition (contains some...

Re: Beware! For I am armed with new dark knowledge
Excellent news, I have found something on eBay that I've been looking for a long time. The Collected Fantasies of Clark Ashton Smith: End of the Story v. 1 The Collected Fantasies of Clark Ashton Smith: Door to Saturn v. 2 By Night Shade Books . Technically I now have the whole series, even tho I'm ...

Re: MU Podcast 035 – 7th Ed Postmortem
Agreed. He's one of the most original horror writers in existance, IMO. His Books of Blood are amazing, and surprisingly there are some good adaptations of his movies. Hellraiser, Candyman and Lord of Illusions jumps to my mind. Lord of Illusions is an awesome movie, I rate it even higher than Hell...

Re: Television
So, a couple new shows I've started with: Under The Dome 3 episodes in and I can tell it's Stephen King cos nothing is fucking happening. I'll give it a few more to have something happen and then give up. Broadchurch Only seen the pilot, but it seems pretty good. And hey, it's ITV with Mr. 2nd new D...

Re: Non Mythos Scenario
Non-Mythos adventures are indeed a good change in pace, however how you can tell the difference is a good question. Pagan did a book called Bumps in the Night , which is all non-Mythos adventures, maybe once my copy arrives (please be this week) I can answer that one better. I have been involved in ...

Re: Why Indy Press fails...
Welcome to the World of RPGs (not the MMO of the same name...) This "birth-getting gobbled up by someone bigger-death-rebirth-final death" cycle has been going on ever since the RPG industry was born with D&D in the 70's. Boom and bust has happened quite a few times already and there are very few co...
