Time for Harvest
I'm looking forward to two things today: - Chaosium releasing the first part of a Time for Harvest campaign - Tesla unveiling the Model 3 details Ok, since this is a CoC forum and not a car forum, let's talk about the first thing. Anyone else planning to run it, either for their local group or at a ...

Skype of Cthulhu Players Wanted - Gatsby and the Great Race
I just wanted to mention that we're going to be running Gatsby and the Great Race as an "anniversary" game of sorts, and we're still looking for players. The game will run as a one-shot on Sunday, Feb. 21, via Google Hangouts, starting at 1500 GMT. Jim's post about this with further information can ...

Re: Sans Detour Call of Cthulhu 7th edition unboxing video
Thanks to Paul for doing this, I had taken a bunch of photos of mine but was dreading the uploading/posting of them :) This thing is awesome-sauce. I love the use of period photos throughout the rules books, it really gives me a good idea as a keeper as to what the setting was like, rather than some...

Re: Cthulhu Wars Kickstarter arrived
So a follow up to this, almost a year later. I finally received my stretch goals package today. I had originally pledged for the level where you get the full game and any stretch goals. Nothing extra. Today I received a 17 pound box! To be honest, I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the bits, pieces, add...

Re: Petersen Field Guide Update
I'd gladly sacrifice my mugs, stratigraph, tshirt, and backer pin for credit in the store for existing gaming stuff (or even PDFs). I know others don't feel the same and argue that the reason they backed at a certain level is because of the add-ons, but personally I wanted the actual books.

Re: Petersen Field Guide Update
I can easily imagine that a lot of that went to pay for art, layout, printing and shipping HotOE. That box was HEAVY and must have cost a ton to ship, even in the US.

Petersen Field Guide Update
Will just post it here. While it sounds like a cool book, prepare for blood boil if you're a backer. Dear Dedicated Cultists of Cthulhu, Nick has been going all out to get S. Petersen's Field Guide to Lovecraftian Horrors done and he has succeeded! While it was originally referred to as a pair of Fi...
