Re: History Lecture Ideas

A case of art reflecting life... You have heard tales of such strange things where jeweled daggers and bodies were involved in the past. Re: MU Podcast 063 - Star Spawn of GenCon!

The electric monstrosity - very cool to hear what could be the root of the lightening servant of the Northwest coast legends. They were used by the thunderbird as hunting Spears in their quest for whales.

Your dilettante

Does your dilettante worry about the utterly pedestrian nature of their handgun? Worry not, Tiffany's had them covered. http://www.retronaut.com/2014/09/handguns-decorated-by-tiffany/ http://www.fieldandstream.com/blogs/gun-nuts/2012/03/guns-tiffanys Reminds me slightly of narco bling. Somehow more ...

Re: Not really Fiction - Scenario musings

I suppose I ought to consider my idea from South America as well. There is a variety of shell called the Spondylus, that is found in graves and ritual contexts through out the Andes. From pots depicting it, to necklaces, to dust being scattered, it is mostly popular because of a lurid red colour tha...

Re: Not really Fiction - Scenario musings

I really need someone to hold my feet to a fire when it comes to writing stuff down. I just do not do it, despite the ideas percolating in my head. Right now I have three ideas I could work on, and I am not sure which one to attack. Project 1) The above seed with the PCMR and the strange goings on w...

Re: History Lecture Ideas

Ah our famous floating feet. Most of the ones that have been found have been linked to suicides or deaths on the water where the bodies were never recovered. The feet being in shoes that want to float eventually become detached as rot happens and wind up floating to the surface and to shore. Of cour...

Re: History Lecture Ideas

Oh I never shared this did I. Roentgenizdat Or Bone Music. During the Cold war when the Soviet Union was at its height, censorship of all forms was undertaken. One way around that for music was the copying of records. However since Vinyl was not easy to get, they came across a cheap and easy way to ...
