Re: MUP 129 - Overworked Horses and Pre-Con Chat
Loved the return of the Card Catalog...and while I was traveling I listened to a group of podcasts. One was on the History of Scotland and there was this discussion about the Meigle Stone Museum in Scotland...and there are a couple that would be great for the basis for a story or a jumping off point...

Re: MUP 114 - It's an Invictus Festivus!
Just wanted to post a note here too, after leaving a message on the answering machine, about how much I enjoyed this episode. I am playing in a PbP Invictus campaign and really enjoying it. Like the fact that there will be additional materials made available for the 7th edition rule set. It was a re...

Great episode and enjoyed the Dimsham discussion, was thinking the same thing about a really scary Thai dish, then that is what was said. LOL. Also, love curling - it's awesome to watch in the Olympics. Wher eis the MU Pod Curling shirts??? I would buy one! maybe have a curling stone shaped like Cth...

Re: Cthulhu Invictus help - Roman Britan - creatures
Thanks Doc. I think that a Shub-Niggarth cult - with two faces -- the Black Ram and the Mother of 1000 Young makes a lot of sense. Will start developing the concept of the cult, it's abominations, and alliance. Thanks Doc.

Re: Cthulhu Invictus help - Roman Britan - creatures
So at a Halloween party a person had made this really gruesome creature mask...best described as a cross between a goat and a wolf with a very wide and elongated face and maul of a mouth. I mean each side of the mouth was probably 24" long with dozens of teeth on each side and the the front teeth ar...

Cthulhu Invictus help - Roman Britan - creatures
So need some nudges towards a few sources that can help me as I put together a CI idea/story/PbP Campaign set in Roman Britania...it's with the underlying source. Think Picts vs. Romans and players are Roman. Where I am trying to get to is some Great Pan/Satyr/Green Man or a female entity that is a ...

Re: MUP 109 - Staring at the Sunspots
Thanks Doc. You can always play up the adult child who is not happy about going there, but knows they have to and asks a couple of his buddy investigators to tag along as the place is a bit "high tension."

Re: MUP 109 - Staring at the Sunspots
I have some thoughts that I wanted to share about Canageek’s Prepper scenario idea. I have a little experience living around “preppers” before this term ballooned via Internet into such widespread use. From what I saw, they often nurture a deep belief in some kind of End Times, whether of a biblica...
