Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
What appears to be missing from the rules (among spells, creatures, etc. that were in 6th but left out here) are rules for how multiple individuals can combine their attributes for a task. For example, on P. 83 in the box there is an example where Harvey tries to pry open a locked door. He has a STR...

Page 34 of the Keeper's book: in the box at the top left of the page, under "Determine Characteristics", it says: "Roll 2D6+6 multipled by 5 for SIZ, INT, and EDU". That should be "multiplied".

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
I don't know if it's too late to post this but there's a big error in the title of Chapter 16. The correct plural of "appendix" is "appendices". NOT "appendicies".

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
On page 86 of the Investigator Handout, the Credit Rating for a Pharmacist is given as a word range (Middle to Upper Middle Class) while the other occupations that I looked at list number ranges.

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
On page 263 of the Keeper's book, in the section on Bind spells, it says: "Each cast of the binding costs 1 Sanity point but no magic points. ... One option open to the caster is to invest a number of magic points equal to one-fifth of the summoned creature’s POW to gain a bonus die on the opposed P...

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
The entry on p. 232 of the Keeper's book for the Pnakotic Manuscripts is... incomplete. It doesn't mention that the 5 bound known copies are only partial copies of the whole work, or that they are translations (possibly poor ones) of the Greek work, or that the original was held by the people of Lom...

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
Keeper's Book, Page 46, the Cash and Assets table seems a little bizarre to me. I realize it's supposed to be a guideline but it seems... off even as a guideline. For example, in the 1920s section, it lists the Credit Rating range of 10-49 as having $500-$2450 in assets. The next Credit Rating range...

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
P. 174 of the Keeper's guide, right column, two paragraphs before the section on "Full Study" says: "A roll should now be made for Sanity point loss; note that the Sanity roll is bypassed when reading a tome—the Sanity point loss is automatic." Ok, I'm confused. Make a roll and then ignore it? Or ar...

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
On page 269 of the Keeper's book, in the section about Carotid Toxin, it says: "The toxin slowly eats away at the carotid arteries, causing massive internal bleeding and almost instantaneous death." If the poison slowly eats away at the arteries, how can it cause "almost instantaneous" death? That's...

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here
If I were going to run any of the scenarios from Tales of the Crescent City, I'd have to choose between using the 6th edition rules, or bringing both the 6th edition and 7th edition books with me to the games. I'd probably choose to use 6th edition. New players then probably won't buy the 7th editi...
