Re: MU Podcast 051 - Wacky Gadgets and the Wacko's that Use
It might be a coincidence that the protagonists of the original Final Fantasy game were known as the Light Warriors, and that they had to recharge Orbs (mayhaps muffin shaped...) in order to defeat Chaos and resolve a paradox in time and space that was being exploited by an otherworldly force. It MI...

Re: 13 Revelations of the Bloated Tongue
I have come back from a hiatus (basically an insane teaching schedule for the last year) and realized I was the last person to post in the Orne Library section. Let's blow this mother up!

Re: MU Podcast 049- The Ideology of Sandboxing
Oh man, one more video game just came to mind. Cthulhu Saves The World. You can get it on Steam. You play as Cthulhu. He has his powers sealed by a sorceror, and the only way for him to regain them, and thus destroy the world, is to become a TRUE HERO! The game engine is like the old Final Fantasy g...

Here's another Lovecraft Video Game suggestion: http://www.abandonia.com/en/search_abandonia/cthulhu This site, Abandonia, has a bunch of cool old Dos games available. Highly recommended. Re: MUP 044 - What a Twist!

We were playing an evil adventuring party. My character was a Tiefling Bard whose parents had cursed to l...

Re: Television
If it hasn't been said yet, my wife and I just finished the third season of AMC's Hell on Wheels, and we love it. It's rare for her to binge a tv show, but we did about 8 hours of that last weekend.

Re: 13 Revelations of the Bloated Tongue
Murph, feel free! I would love any feedback or ideas on how to play with it or to smooth out any rough edges I might have overlooked or ignored. People are of course free to use it in their games if they wish, or elements of it, or whatever.

Re: 13 Revelations of the Bloated Tongue
Oh, duh. Other possible plot hooks are the two scenarios mentioned in the languages section of the description. The Books of Uncle Silas or The Isley Variant could be ways to lead into using the tome, or could be integrated into a campaign that was already using it as Investigators try to learn more...
