Masks End of Campaign Stats
At long last, my group has finished Masks WITH SURVIVORS! We'll be moving on a palate cleanser of fantasy or Savage Rifts before returning back to the strange new world of the three surving investigators, but for now, a statistical breakdown of what transpired: MASKS OF NYARLATHOTEP – STATISTICS Dis...

Re: MUP 101 - No Accounting for that Fella's Strength
Accounting isn't one of what one of my players dubbed the "Holy Trinity of Skills" (Library Use, Spot Hidden, Shotgun) but it's not uncommon in classic CoC material. Masks, Day of Beast, and Spawn of Azathoth have more calls for Accounting than second tier skills like Psychology or Natural History. ...

Re: MUP 084 - Tinker, Tailor, Cthulhu, Spy
Great interview that got me far more interested in the Kickstarter than before. Unfortunately, there is a certain obnoxiously gigantic Kickstarter taking all my attention and funds right now. Hey, it does have some nice Mythos add-ons. :cthulhudance: I just finished listening to The Space Between AP...

Re: Whoa! Chaosium News.
We're not going to become the TMZ (rumor mongers and privacy violators) or CNN (punditry on parade) of gaming podcasts, but there's plenty of remaining territory to grow into. I can not get the image of gaming paparazzi out of my head, harrassing Monte Cook or Sandy Peterson coming out of In-and-Ou...

Re: Gilding the Haunting
There's always the variant where you are the clean-up crew hired by the landlord the "just fix things" a week or so after the first group of investigators botched the job. The house is weird enough, but throw in the death of a Congressional aide inside, the bloody mutilation of some crackpot author,...

Re: MUP 080 - NPC Favorites and Roll to Ramble Aimlessly
Fantastic episode as always. The oddball skills topic evolved into a great discussion on role-playing NPCs. There are plenty of scenarios with women, children, or high-pitched men NPCs with the "Scream Loudly 75%" skill, just to cement what their role was. Most important oddball skill for my group? ...

Re: Whoa! Chaosium News.
Given the latest development, is it now socially acceptable to discuss the elephant in the room? Which is to say, there is clearly, clearly an issue with fulfillment of the Chaosium Kickstarters, with no end in sight. I know that it's a small industry and that folks are especially reluctant to "tal...
