Seven portraits of Elvira Wallin

http://i.imgur.com/OeNOgGF.jpg Between 1889 and 1923 the artist Elsa Korbin painted seven portraits of the dilettente Elvira Wallin. The portraits were said to have arcane properties. Each one by itself is harmless, but together they supposedly posessed great magical power. After her death, Korbin'...

Re: Open gaming Saturday afternoon?

Hey all! Unfortunately Chad Bowser has had bad medical turn (feel better, Chad!) and our Saturday Dark Ages game has been cancelled. Anybody interested in an open game Saturday afternoon before the get together? I could probably get something together, but I am a "junior" for CoC veterans, so under...

Re: Necronomi-Con 2015

The Biltmore and the Omni (the two 'con hotels) are within a few blocks of each other. The N'con website says they will be doing walking/bus tours. Swan Point cemetery is NOT within walking distance of downtown (ask my how I know) but I would expect one of the bus tours might go there. I am a happy...

Re: Necronomicon 2015 MUP Libation Congregation

There's going to be things happening every evening, but my guess is that Saturday is the best night.

Re: Blackwater Creek: Standard Investigators

I'm interested, depending on timing. No need to set up the times just for me, but the game times that *would* work for me given the game lengths are the following:

Friday: Starting no later than 6pm central
Saturday: Starting any time between noon and 6pm central

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here

Keeper's rulebook, page 285: Inconsistent capitalization. Sometimes colour is spelled with a lower-case c, sometimes with upper-case, without any consistency. Keeper's rulebook, page 285: "Base amount, which then increases as a color feeds". Color should be colour, because it refers to a colour out ...

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here

Keeper's Book, Page 46, the Cash and Assets table seems a little bizarre to me. I realize it's supposed to be a guideline but it seems... off even as a guideline. For example, in the 1920s section, it lists the Credit Rating range of 10-49 as having $500-$2450 in assets. The next Credit Rating rang...

Re: Kickstarter Proof Reviews Here

Investigators Handbook page 27 last paragraph "August the half-expected outcome developed, and in the small hours of the 3d Dr. Armitage was awakened" 3d should be 3rd. Actually, 3d is probably correct. Quoting from Wikipedia : In the legal field and in some older publications, the ordinal abbrevia...
