Re: What do Keepers owe their players and vice versa?
As a keeper I owe it to my pcs to drive them all (at least temporarily) insane before being subject to disassembly at the hands / paws / tentacles / claws of some unnamable horror from beyond space, time and comprehension. In 'game terms' only... Unless my younger sibling is playing in which case an...

Re: Cthulhu Dark -- A Secret Everest Expedition
In heavily accented sherpa, very weakly, he says the word for "help." Wangdi carefully hurries forward to examine the fallen child sized bundle. Despite the terrifyingly bizarre events of these last few days Wangdi will still aid those in need, and if Mister Odell us responsible for having harmed s...

Re: Cthulhu Dark -- A Secret Everest Expedition
As Wangdi steps slowly closer to the boulder, he hears the rhythmic hiss of soft, labored breathing. Peeking around the boulder and the scant protection of his pack, Wangdi spots a bit of cloth...a scrap of brown tattered robe. Circling at some distance, an oblong bundle comes into view. It is movi...

Re: Kid comics?
I would always suggest Asterix and Tintin comics for kids and adults alike. Both are fun, intellectually stimulating, can be used to encourage reading and addressing important life issues, have great art and engaging story lines. Plus you can read them with your kids and enjoy the stories as much as...

Re: Cthulhu Dark -- A Secret Everest Expedition
[Riq, from here you can decide which course of action is best. If you want to approach the sound, you may do so without rolling dice. If you want to search some more around this spot on your own, give me at least two dice (human and expert), and add other dice as you see fit. If you want to forge a...

Re: Cthulhu Dark -- A Secret Everest Expedition
[No need to roll exhaustion, since no one tried to race Wangdi or unusually push their limits. Things get increasingly more physically taxing as the air gets thinner -- at some point even normal tasks might require an exhaustion roll, but not yet. Riq, I searched our game thread, but couldn't find ...

Re: DELTA GREEN STRANGE AUTHORITIES PAPERBACK/QUESTION
Likewise, I've supported the DG fiction Kickstarter, at the $30 level so I'm looking forward to the ebook *and* playtesting the new DG rpg alpha! Actually as a petty vindictive keeper I'm really just looking forward to hurting my players in new and exciting ways within a contemporary setting. In fac...

I await your direction on the outcome of this] Seeing the night approaching just behind the worsening weather, Wangdi hefts up the first rucksack and begins a steady march up to Camp 1...
