Fear's Sharp Little Needles

Is anyone else supporting this little beauty? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stephaniemcalea/fears-sharp-little-needles-adventures-for-call-of I love the idea of a collection of stories that are designed as one-shots that can be done in a night. I've recently introduced RPGing to my young peop...

Re: 291 - Darkest Hour 10 (World War Cthulhu)

World War Cthulhu is my system of choice so it's been great to hear you guys running it. I tend to leave the detection rolls for when investigators are in densely populated areas and mostly in occupied territory. It's the inclusion of N and his network make this interesting as our games I've started...

Re: Staring your own campaign

Good call! I'm in the middle of my first home-brewed effort. For me it was about putting down the structure. I had my central idea (4 nutters raised to compete to give the biggest sacrifice to the Tick Tock Man) so I needed to break that down into component chapters (or operations). Each of these op...

Re: MUP 084 - Tinker, Tailor, Cthulhu, Spy

Wow, I'd be very curious to hear how you'd handle it, given your direct experience. I visited Northern Ireland in the fall of 1991 and again in 1993, not long before the ceasefire when the conflict was still quite hot. I would be reluctant as an American on the outside of that conflict to run or pl...

Re: MUP 084 - Tinker, Tailor, Cthulhu, Spy

Really interested in how things like the Troubles will be portrayed. As a Northern Irishman having been born in 1980 they were a background for my formative years and I currently work in youth and community work so would see the impact of the paramilitaries on today's generation of young people. Run...

Trip Advisor: Zagreb AVOID. Place is mad as a box of frogs (which incidentally were bloodied after a full on brawl with a group of mice, they alleged the mice started it). Porter was there to meet us at the station but proceeded to take us the most convoluted route through the city to the extent my ...
