Re: MU Podcast 051 - Wacky Gadgets and the Wacko's that Use
Thanks as ever for the show guys. Just thought I'd flag one thing as you said you might revisit cults in a future show. French Governments appear to be quite interested in cults and as such set up MIVILUDES or the "Interministerial Mission for Monitoring and Combatting Cultic Deviances" - which rega...

Re: 7th Ed Quickstarter Rules are out!!!
I still like the artwork and it does pretty sum up the atmosphere of the game for me - personally. But totally respect the fact it doesn't do it for you (although I'm assuming the 6e quickstart doesn't do it for you either...) I do love the fact that a game based primarily on the works of one author...

Re: 7th Ed Quickstarter Rules are out!!!
Thanks Dan and thanks Mike - really appreciate you taking the time to repond. That explanation makes sense. Presumably it also means that as the mechanical hook for characters dying is the definition of a major wound we could - if an injury wasn't in a classic combat situation (if it was fire, drown...

Re: 1920s Campaign Resources
If anyone is looking for a bit more colour on 1920s cruise ships I found this really useful as it contains deck plans, timetables and adverts for the SS Yarmouth running out of Boston to Newfoundland in the 1920s. Although it was non-Atlantic the smaller scale was exactly what I was after as I only ...

Re: 7th Ed Quickstarter Rules are out!!!
Really pleased these have come out and agree the artwork looks great - very much liking what I'm reading too. Only thing I can't quite get my head around at the mo though is the new health rules. As I read it it seems to be saying that you need to suffer a 'major wound' to actually risk dying. Does ...

Re: MUP Live Play- Last Things Last
Yep that's the one and comes with a full recommendation from me (and I've still got two tales left). It's a really diverse mix of writing styles and takes on the Mythos. Last Things Last was a paticualrly good one and made me really want to run the scenario - so I was really excited to listen to how...

Re: MUP Live Play- Last Things Last
Thanks very much for re posting the audio Dan - it now works fine. And thanks to those involved - seriously made me chuckle. Particularly as having read the fiction version I was completely un-prepared for how you folks handled any doubt over what was in the tank... nice!

Re: MUP Live Play- Last Things Last
I was just wondering if anyone ever get to the bottom of the mystery of the misbehaving audio file? I'm having the same problem with the timings getting mixed up when I try to pause and play again or jump forward. Having just read a fiction version of the scenario in Shotguns vs Cthulhu which was aw...

Re: MU Podcast 027 – 6-Word Brainstorming
Thanks for the welcome! The catacombs look a fantastic location with loads of potential. I don't know of any estates nearby but given the proximity of Primrose Hill and Regents Park it would certainly seem reasonable for there to be some very large town houses nearby. The only thing I pesonally thin...

Re: MU Podcast 027 – 6-Word Brainstorming
Hello, First of all a massive thank you for the podcast – I recently caught up with all the back catalogue and have really enjoyed it. It’s cemented my second coming as Cthulhu fan so thanks very much. As a father of one it’s also a great comfort to hear other people trying to juggle their lives and...
